ááThis is my loom. It leans against the wall of my house. The vertical threads are weighted down by loom weights. They are divided into two layers by a beam near the bottom. I pass the horizontal threads through the gap . Then I beat them upwards with a weaving batten to form the cloth. I make different patterns of cloth by changing the position of the threads. Plain or tabby weave is easy. Twill is harder.
