ocr: Cat (Faience). This is one ofa pair of glazed ceramic cats created by Emile Gallé around 1800. With an intriguing smile, the cat gazes through green glass eyes. It wears a black lace bonnet and the yellow, wrap-around bodice is covered with decorative flowers. This version is refined from earlier prototypes.
