  17. before using this software.  Unless you have a different license
  18. agreement signed by WinZip Computing, Inc. ("WCI") your use,
  19. distribution, or installation of this copy of WinZip
  20. Self-Extractor indicates your acceptance of this License.

  22. If you do not agree to all of the terms of this License, then do
  23. not install, distribute  or use this copy of WinZip
  24. Self-Extractor.  In addition, if you paid WCI or an authorized
  25. WCI distributor for this copy individually, you may return it
  26. unused, within thirty (30) days after purchase, for a full
  27. refund of your payment.

  31. This copy of WinZip Self-Extractor may either be used by a single
  32. person who uses the software personally on one or more computers,
  33. or installed on a single workstation used nonsimultaneously by
  34. multiple people, but not both. This is not a concurrent use
  35. license.

  37. You may access this copy through a network, provided that you
  38. have obtained an individual WinZip Self-Extractor license for
  39. each workstation that will access WinZip Self-Extractor through
  40. the network.  For instance, if 8 different workstations will
  41. access WinZip Self-Extractor on the network, each workstation
  42. must have its own WinZip Self-Extractor license, regardless of
  43. whether they use WinZip Self-Extractor at different times or
  44. concurrently.

  46. WinZip Self-Extractor may be used to create an unlimited number
  47. of freely distributable, royalty-free self-extracting Zip files.
  48. Each self-extracting Zip file contains, among other things, a
  49. portion of WinZip Self-Extractor, including copyrighted software,
  50. proprietary notices, and identifying information (this portion is
  51. the "Extraction Software"). You may not alter or modify the
  52. Extraction Software, nor give anyone permission to do so.

  54. All rights of any kind in WinZip Self-Extractor which are not
  55. expressly granted in this License are entirely and exclusively
  56. reserved to and by WCI.  You may not rent, lease, modify,
  57. translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create
  58. derivative works based on, WinZip Self-Extractor. You may not
  59. make access to WinZip Self-Extractor available to others in
  60. connection with a service bureau, application service provider,
  61. or similar business.

  83. SELF-EXTRACTOR'S FAILURE TO PERFORM CAN REASONABLY BE EXPECTED TO
  84. RESULT IN A SIGNIFICANT PHYSICAL INJURY, OR IN LOSS OF LIFE.  ANY
  85. SUCH USE BY YOU IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK, AND YOU AGREE TO

  91. This Agreement is the complete statement of the Agreement between
  92. the parties on the subject matter, and merges and supersedes all
  93. other or prior understandings, purchase orders, agreements and
  94. arrangements. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the
  95. State of  Connecticut.  Exclusive jurisdiction and venue for all
  96. matters relating to this Agreement shall be in courts and fora
  97. located in the State of Connecticut, and you consent to such
  98. jurisdiction and venue.  There are no third party beneficiaries
  99. of any promises, obligations or representations made by WCI
  100. herein.

  105. This license applies to the evaluation version of WinZip
  106. Self-Extractor.  If you do not have an evaluation version of
  107. WinZip Self-Extractor, see the section above titled Standard

  119. License.  If you do not agree to all of the terms of this
  120. License, then do not use, copy, transmit, distribute, or install
  121. WinZip Self-Extractor.

  123. SCOPE OF LICENSE

  125. This is not free software.  Subject to the terms below, you are
  126. hereby licensed by WinZip Computing, Inc. ("WCI") to use this
  127. software for evaluation purposes without charge for a period of
  128. 21 days.  If you use this software after the 21 day evaluation
  129. period a registration fee of $49 is required.  Payments must be
  130. in US dollars drawn on a US bank, and should be sent to WinZip
  131. Computing, Inc., P.O. Box 540, Mansfield, CT 06268, USA.  See the

  135. Unregistered use of WinZip Self-Extractor after the 21-day
  136. evaluation period is in violation of U.S. and international

  141. a)  give exact copies of this evaluation version of WinZip
  142.     Self-Extractor personally to anyone, except for the purpose
  143.     of extending their 21 day evaluation period;
  144. b)  distribute exact copies of this evaluation version of WinZip
  145.     Self-Extractor, if done exclusively through electronic
  146.     channels; and
  147. c)  make as many exact copies of this evaluation version of
  148.     WinZip Self-Extractor as you wish, for purposes of
  149.     distribution as described in (a) and (b) above.

  151. YOU ARE SPECIFICALLY PROHIBITED FROM CHARGING, OR REQUESTING
  152. DONATIONS, FOR ANY COPIES, HOWEVER MADE, AND FROM DISTRIBUTING
  153. SUCH COPIES WITH OTHER PRODUCTS OF ANY KIND, COMMERCIAL OR
  154. OTHERWISE, WITHOUT PRIOR WRITTEN PERMISSION FROM WCI. WCI

  163. nor give anyone permission to do so. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ARE
  164. YOU LICENSED TO DISTRIBUTE SELF-EXTRACTING ZIP FILES CREATED BY
