  24. 1. What is Quick Hide?
  25. ==============================

  27. This utility is great for hiding program windows with a press 
  28. of a hotkey combination. You easily bring them back with 
  29. another combo. Hiding the taskbar and desktop icons is just awesome.
  30. Password protection allows you to lock QH to prevent intruders 
  31. from trying to show invisible applications while you're gone. You can 
  32. even lock your computer with QH instead of a weak, easily hackable 
  33. screensaver password.

  35. To view QH interface press: Ctrl+Alt+Shift+Q

  38. 2. Minimum requirements
  39. =========================
  40. Windows 95/98/ME
  41. Windows NT4/2000/XP (with some limitations)
  42. vb6 runtime files and Macromedia Flash Plugin (v5 or better)

  44. note: Quick Hide lock computer features doesnÆt work on NT platform

  47. 3. Installation procedure
  48. =========================
  49.  
  50. To install QH, execute the SETUP.EXE program 
  51. contained in this .ZIP archive. SETUP.EXE is a 
  52. self-extracting installer.
  53. To run QH, click on the icon created by 
  54. the installer in Start Menu.
  55. All program documentation is contained in the Help 
  56. file shipped with QH.

  59. 4. Uninstallation procedure
  60. ===========================
  61. Be sure QH is not running! Press  Ctrl+Alt+Shift+Q
  62. to view QH interface and click on X on top-left corner. 
  63. Then enter "Control Panel" folder from "Settings" menu in 
  64. "Start" button. Double click on "Add/Remove Programs" icon,
  65. select Quick Hide and click on "Add/Remove" button.

  69. =====================
  70. - some office xp programs such Word could generate errors when there are hiden.
  71. - Quick Hide lock computer features doesnÆt work on NT platform.
