USB and NIC installs are both supported.<br><br>Choosing USB requires you to plug your modem into an available Universal Serial Bus (USB) port on your machine when Virtual Truck instructs you to do so.<br><br>Choosing NIC requires that you plug your modem into a Network Interface Card (NIC). You may have to open the case to your computer and install the NIC yourself.<br><br>Each type of install requires a special cable provided with your modem. The ports you will use to connect the cable modem to your computer can be found on the back side of your computer. You will not be able to interchange the two as a USB cable will not plug into a NIC and vice versa. One type of install is not necessarily any better than the other.</p>
