  43.      Welcome, and thank you for trying ToDo List.

  45.      The ToDo List was designed to help you manage and organize your
  46.      ToDos.
  47.  
  48.      The ToDo List is being distributed through Shareware, which
  49.      allows you to test out a program before purchasing it.  Further
  50.      explanation of Shareware and Registration can be found on this page.

  52.      In the following pages you will learn how to use ToDo List.

  54. Registration Information

  56.      The ToDo List is a copyrighted program protected by all applicable
  57.      copyright laws. You are allowed to use this copy without
  58.      charge for 30 days. After this time, you must register in order to
  59.      continue using ToDo List.
  60.  
  61.      The registration fee for ToDo List is only $12 (Print REGISTER.ME
  62.      or Page 5 of this manual and fill out and send to us with your
  63.      payment).  Payment of this fee entitles you to:

  65.            1. Shareware messages removal.
  66.  
  67.            2. A printed manual.
  68.  
  69.            3. Disk copy of this program with registered version.
  70.  
  71.            4. Notice of future upgrades.

  76.      (1)  Copyright:  This program and documentation are Copyright
  77.                       Rock View 1994, and are protected by copyright
  78.                       laws.  You are granted a license to use your copy
  79.                       of ToDo List under the terms and conditions specified
  80.                       in this license agreement.

  82.      (2)  Shareware Copies:  Shareware copies are distributed to allow you to
  83.                       try the program before you pay for it.  These copies
  84.                       are still Copyright Rock View 1994.  These copies are
  85.                       not to be confused with "public domain" or "free"
  86.                       software.  You are allowed to use the shareware copies
  87.                       for a trial period of 30 days.  Once the trial period
  88.                       is over, you are required to register with Rock View
  89.                       for $12.

  102.                       may create and distribute an unlimited number of copies
  103.                       of the UNREGISTERED version(s) to anyone you wish as
  104.                       long as all files are included.

  107.                       You may make as many copies of the UNREGISTERED
  108.                       version(s) to give/distribute to anyone you wish as

  114.      The program was designed around the use of bar menus to allow the easiest
  115.      possible interface between user and program.
  116.  
  117.      MAIN MENU
  118.  
  119.      The main menu will include the folowing selections:
  120.  
  121.         1. Add ToDo Items
  122.         2. Purge <Delete> All Items
  123.         3. Backup Data
  124.         4. Print ToDo List
  125.         5. Exit Program
  126.  
  127.      In order to elaborate on each selection, I will follow each of them to the
  128.      end and then come back on the others.

  130.      ADD
  131.  
  132.      You will be presented with a screen showing the cuurent Todo items you
  133.      have. From this screen, choose either INS to insert a new ToDo, DEL to
  134.      delete a finished ToDo, F2 to edit an item, Up Arrow to move up one item
  135.      in the list, the Down Arrow to move down one item in the list, PgUp to
  136.      move up one screen in the list, PgDn to move down one screen in the list,
  137.      or ESC to escape to the main menu.

  139.      PURGE
  140.  
  141.      This option will delete ALL ToDo's. It is helpful if you just want to start
  142.      over fresh. CAUTION: ONCE DELETED, THESE ITEMS CANNOT BE
  143.      RECOVERED. Use this option very carefully.

  145.      BACKUP
  146.  
  147.      This option is used to backup the data files to a diskette in either Drive A
  148.      or B. A bounce bar menu will ask you which drive to Backup to.
  149.  
  150.      PRINT
  151.  
  152.      This option prints your ToDo list to either the Printer or Screen.

  158.      This option exits the program altogether. Once again, you will be asked
  159.      if you would like to Backup the data files before exiting.
