- The Biorhythm plot screen
-
- The display shows the three biorhythm curves (physical, emotional and
- intellectual), plotted for 65 days starting 7 days before the specified
- start date. Each dot on the horizontal scales represents 1 day.
- Continuous vertical dotted lines indicate the first day of a month, with
- the name of the month abbreviated at the top of the line. The specified
- start date is represented by three solid vertical lines, one for each
- curve, 7 days in from the left edge of the display.
-
- Three lines below the curves are used to mark those days which are
- critical. Days with a single critical (i.e. one curve crosses the
- zero-line on those days) are marked on the "S" line, double criticals are
- on the "D" line, and treble criticals (where all three curves cross on the
- same day) are on the "T" line.
-
-
-
-
-
- The List screens
-
- The display gives a list of critical days for a fixed period from the start
- date. Single critical days are shown in light blue (appearing grey on a
- mono monitor); double critical days are in bright white; treble criticals
- are bright white on a red background (appearing white on grey).
-
- Listing all criticals shows single, double and treble critical days,
- covering a period of 200 days. Listing only double and treble criticals
- covers a period of 2000 days.
-
- The letters p, e and i are shown to the left of each date displayed,
- indicating which cycles are critical on that day.
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
- Listing the next treble critical day
-
- The program searches forward from the start date, checking each date to
- determine if it is a treble critical day. The year it is checking is
- displayed in light blue (or grey) as the search proceeds. When the next
- treble critical is found, the full date is displayed.

- Changing the start date
-
- This function allows you to enter the start date of a new period of
- interest. Please note the following points about entering dates (which
- apply to all times when the program prompts you for a date):
-
- * The stroke characters (/) between the numbers are required.
-
- * Dates before 1 Jan 1800 are not allowed.
-
- * Years given in the range 0 - 99 are assumed to mean 1900 - 1999 and are
- adjusted accordingly.
-
- * When entering start dates (not birthdays), pressing only the return key
- causes the program to use the current system date.
-
-
-
-
-
- Changing personal details
-
- This option allows you to enter the name and birthday of another person so
- that you can check several people's biorhythms without having to restart
- the program.

- Compatibility testing
-
- This option gives you a compatibility rating between yourself and another
- person. The rating is shown as a percentage for each of the three
- biorhythm cycles. Each percentage indicates the proportion of time during
- which the other person's biorhythm is in the positive (or negative) phase
- at the same time as your own is positive (or negative).
-
- For example, a physical compatibility rating of 65% means that the physical
- rhythms are both positive, and both negative, for 65% of the time, and that
- for the other 35% your rhythm is positive when the other person's is
- negative, or vice-versa.
-
- Both sets of biorhythms are displayed in the same form as the plot screen.
- Your rhythms are shown as a solid curve; the other person's appear as a
- dotted curve.
