  1.                          The Biorhythm plot screen

  3. The display shows the three biorhythm curves (physical, emotional and
  4. intellectual), plotted for 65 days starting 7 days before the specified
  5. start date.  Each dot on the horizontal scales represents 1 day.
  6. Continuous vertical dotted lines indicate the first day of a month, with
  7. the name of the month abbreviated at the top of the line.  The specified
  8. start date is represented by three solid vertical lines, one for each
  9. curve, 7 days in from the left edge of the display.

  11. Three lines below the curves are used to mark those days which are
  12. critical.  Days with a single critical (i.e. one curve crosses the
  13. zero-line on those days) are marked on the "S" line, double criticals are
  14. on the "D" line, and treble criticals (where all three curves cross on the
  15. same day) are on the "T" line.

  21.                              The List screens
  22.  
  23. The display gives a list of critical days for a fixed period from the start
  24. date.  Single critical days are shown in light blue (appearing grey on a
  25. mono monitor); double critical days are in bright white; treble criticals
  26. are bright white on a red background (appearing white on grey).

  28. Listing all criticals shows single, double and treble critical days,
  29. covering a period of 200 days.  Listing only double and treble criticals
  30. covers a period of 2000 days.

  32. The letters p, e and i are shown to the left of each date displayed,
  33. indicating which cycles are critical on that day.

  41.                    Listing the next treble critical day

  43. The program searches forward from the start date, checking each date to
  44. determine if it is a treble critical day.  The year it is checking is
  45. displayed in light blue (or grey) as the search proceeds.  When the next
  46. treble critical is found, the full date is displayed.

  61.                           Changing the start date
  62.  
  63. This function allows you to enter the start date of a new period of
  64. interest.  Please note the following points about entering dates (which
  65. apply to all times when the program prompts you for a date):
  66.  
  67. * The stroke characters (/) between the numbers are required.
  68.  
  69. * Dates before 1 Jan 1800 are not allowed.
  70.  
  71. * Years given in the range 0 - 99 are assumed to mean 1900 - 1999 and are
  72. adjusted accordingly.

  74. * When entering start dates (not birthdays), pressing only the return key
  75. causes the program to use the current system date.

  83. This option allows you to enter the name and birthday of another person so
  84. that you can check several people's biorhythms without having to restart
  85. the program.

  101.                            Compatibility testing
  102.  
  103. This option gives you a compatibility rating between yourself and another
  104. person.  The rating is shown as a percentage for each of the three
  105. biorhythm cycles.  Each percentage indicates the proportion of time during
  106. which the other person's biorhythm is in the positive (or negative) phase
  107. at the same time as your own is positive (or negative).
  108.  
  109. For example, a physical compatibility rating of 65% means that the physical
  110. rhythms are both positive, and both negative, for 65% of the time, and that
  111. for the other 35% your rhythm is positive when the other person's is
  112. negative, or vice-versa.

  114. Both sets of biorhythms are displayed in the same form as the plot screen.
  115. Your rhythms are shown as a solid curve; the other person's appear as a
  116. dotted curve.
