ocr: Along with Pearl Jam, Mudhoney was formed as a splinter group from the ashes of proto-grunge act Green River. Powered by guitarist/lead screamer Mark Arm, Mu - dhoney's first Sub Pop single, "Touch Me I'm Sick,' and debut EP, Superfuzz Bigmuff (named for the distortion pedal favored by guitarist Steve Turner), detined the style and attitude of the nascent "grunge" movement.
