  11. Info This is the Installation procedure for "Compare Files" Version 1.1,
  12. Info a product of Keystone Software Corp.  (c) Copyright 1994.
  13. Info Clicking on "Install" will start the Installation process.
  14. Info You will be given an opportunity to customize the installation.
  15. Info A folder, "CmpFiles", will be created to contain Compare Files's
  16. Info files.  Compare Files uses VRObj.DLL Version 2.1,
  17. Info a Watcom - VXRexx product.
  18. Info Other KSC products use VRObj.DLL, so to save space, it is kept
  19. Info in another folder, "VXRexx".  This procedure tries to insure that
  20. Info you have the latest version of VRObj.DLL, and will rename an old copy.
  21. Info For Compare Files to run, your Config.Sys file must have a LibPath
  22. Info entry that points to VRObj.DLL, this procedure will add the entry
  23. Info for you.  After re-booting, if you needed to, 
  24. Info double-click on the Compare Files Icon, on your Desktop to run Compare Files.
  25. Info You can display Compare Files's Help information by pressing "F1" when
  26. Info the Compare Files window has the focus.
  27. Info Compare Files finds duplicate files.  Compare Files compares the signature
  28. Info checksum for all files being compared.  Files with identical signatures are
  29. Info then compared byte for byte as a double check.  The names of identical files
  30. Info are then placed in one of two list-boxes, one of files to keep, one of files
  31. Info to delete.  You can move file names from one list-box to the other.  If you
  32. Info want to delete the files listed in the delete list-box click on the "Delete" button.
