  8. Modeled after the classic Breakout game. This program is nicely designed 
  9. with excellent graphics and quality sound. The object of Gemstones III is 
  10. to clear all the gems on the screen and advance thru all the levels. The 
  11. raw and processed gems are the only gems required to be removed before the 
  12. player is advanced. With some clever paddle control, the other gems can be 
  13. used to greatly increase a player's score. 
  14. Note:  Gemstones III requires a VGA monitor and at least 554 Kb of free 
  15. memory to run.

  53. The object of Mindgame is to guess the colours of a row of pegs.  By
  54. default, you have to guess the colours of four pegs in six attempts.  This 
  55. is configurable, allowing peg row lengths between three and six, as well as
  56. three through fifteen attempts.  You make your selections for each position
  57. in the row by clicking on one of the large pegs appearing on the left side 
  58. of the screen.  You may undo a selection at any point before the row is 
  59. completed, by clicking anywhere on the screen with the right mouse button.  
  60. Note: Mindgame reqires a 386 with an SVGA compatible video system with 
  61. 640x400x256 colour, 640x480x256 colour or 800x600x256 colour support and 
  62. 512k of video RAM.

  66. A unique spin of an old game, Asteroid's. You job is to pilot your 
  67. helicopter around the screen shooting molecules of assorted colors. As each 
  68. molecule is hit it explodes into Atom's of different colors, watch out for 
  69. the boomerang. This game is fun to play for young and old. If you have a 
  70. sound card the program sense's it automaticaly.

  73. Nightmare 3-D for Windows = N3WIN.ZIP

  75. Enter the house of the evil Dr. Hamerstein aided by his host of
  76. nasty minions.  He has captured your beloved sweetheart Penelope
  77. and imprisoned her to carry out his evil experiments.
  78. As Hugo, you venture into the horrific world of Dr. Hamerstein on
  79. your perilous quest for Penelope and a mystical mirror which leads
  80. to the "other side".  The mission to rescue Penelope will not be an
  81. easy one.  Not only must you defeat the crazed inhabitants of the
  82. house including Dr. Hamerstein himself, you must also solve numerous
  83. puzzles along the way, some of which are easy, some not quite so easy!
  84. Finally, your journey will take you through a mystical mirror to the
  85. "other side" where you will confront Dr. Hamerstein who is holding
  86. poor Penelope captive. Do all of this from a "First-person perspective" 
  87. similar to Doom and others like it.
  88. This program install the new WinG (Windows graphic driver) system, designed 
  89. to allow better graphics for Windows and a joystick program for Windows as 
  90. well. Both of these additions are Microsoft developed for Windows 3.1x and 
  91. Windows '95.

  93. 256-color VGA

  96. Space Nightmare v1.0 = SPCNGT.ZIP

  98. The Earth has been invaded by the Spiords of the Vaftrz galaxy! They are 
  99. intent on stealing copper from our copper mines. With secret airships built 
  100. by Canadian forces, your destiny is chasing the invaders and destroying 
  101. them before they steal all of the Earth's copper or before they destroy 
  102. you! Do whatever you have to in order to save the Earth!

  104. Softstar Mindgame

  106. Move your player around the screen to avoid being hit by different 
  107. explosions. As you see each explosion fire your laser at it. If your aim is 
  108. good you will see another explosion (red) that lets you know that you hit 
  109. the area. You must shoot varrying amounts of explosions to advance to the 
  110. next level. This is not just a simple shooting style game, varrying 
  111. difficulty can challege most people.

  116. Control your piece and attempt to draw lines around squares. Capture the 
  117. square by drawing all four sides. Sound simple? Not if you throw in 
  118. changing layouts and if you're being chased by different computer 
  119. opponents! Challenging!

  123. Shoot at clay pigeons using your mouse to "target" the cross hairs and 
  124. click to fire. Each round has 25 clay pigeons, and each level is 
  125. increasingly difficult. An excellent, if  frustrating, way to improve your 
  126. hand/eye coordination.

  132. A very well designed version of Tic Tac Toe for Windows. This program is 
  133. simple to use and play. The object is to place (3) X's or O's in a row, 
  134. vertical-horizontaly-diagonly. There are no fancy features to change or 
  135. modify the game, this is a straightforward Tic Tac Toe game. Just want to 
  136. play a simple game, this is it.
