  23. The ID LOGIC (R) Simulator for Windows simulates
  24. ID LOGIC receivers which permit scanning for stations by type
  25. of music ("Format-Scanning") and which offer automatic
  26. identification of station by name, location and format.
  27.  
  28. ID LOGIC receivers can perform these functions for all
  29. stations in BOTH AM and FM (unlike RDS which is limited
  30. to FM.)

  32. Such receivers are being introduced to the North American
  33. market by our licensees - mostly in car radios.
  34.  
  35. ID LOGIC receivers contain an in-receiver database which
  36. can be updated by the broadcasters themselves (ID LOGIC "RDS")
  37. and/or by the user (ID LOGIC) with a few keystokes.

  39. This Simulator contains the data describing most North American
  40. stations (more than 14,000 stations).

  43. Minimum Requirements
  44. --------------------
  45. The ID LOGIC Simulators for MS Windows require the following:
  46.     - IBM PC compatible machine;
  47.     - MS Windows Version 3.1 or later;
  48.     - Microsoft (or compatible) mouse;
  49.     - Display minimum: 540x480 x 256 colors (64k preferred);
  50.     - VBRUN300.DLL in the \Windows\System subdirectory.
  51.       NOTE: If you do not already have VBRUN300.DLL, you can
  52.       download it with FTP from ima.net (look for VBRUN300.ZIP
  53.       in the /shareware/prs directory.)
