  2.  Thanks for trying this software. The R7000 Computer Assisted Software version 1.3 is
  3. designed to control the R7000 from a PC computer. It is a windows program and
  4. requires windows 3.1. Although it will probably work on 3.0 as well. It requires a
  5. minimum amount of memory and is designed to be iconified so that you can do other
  6. things as well as control your R7000 radio.

  8.  This package assumes that you have some way to control your R7000 radio via an RS-232
  9. interface. The most popular method is via the ICOM CT-17 computer interface.

  11.  The program comes two ways. First if you get it off a BBS it will be packaged and
  12. compressed into one program called R7000C13.zip. Simply use the utility PKUNZIP to
  13. unzip this into its various files. Second if you obtain a distribution disk from me
  14. the various files will be present. Simply copy all the files into the directory of
  15. your choice. Then just execute "scanner.exe". All help information will be on line
  16. in the standard Microsoft windows help format. It is important to keep all the files
  17. that are distributed in the same directory. If you have any questions or comments

  20.  Please note that this version has a file called BWCC.DLL. This is a Borland* library
  21. that is required to run this program. If you do not currently have this library
  22. then copy this file to c:\windows\system.
