  1.         KENTROL Version 4.20 Install information

  5. 1) From the File Manager or Program Manager run SETUP.EXE.
  6.  
  7. 2) Allow the setup routine to install a Kentrol group and icon.
  8.  
  9. 3) Read KENTROL.WRI.
  10.  
  11. 4) Connect your radio to the serial port, and turn everything on.
  12.  
  13. 5) Double-click on the Kentrol icon.
  14.  
  15. 6) Choose "radio" in the new object dialog.
  16.  
  17. 7) After the Tuner and Memories windows appear, save [File, Save As]'.
  18.  
  19. *TIP -- Accept the default filename "radio1.rad" to enable autoloading.
  20.  
  21. 8) Create a new memory file [File, New, Memories] and save it.
  22.  
  23. 9) Download [File, Download] your radio's memories to the file. Save it.

  28. UPGRADING FROM A PREVIOUS VERSION

  30. Delete the existing KENTROL..INI and KENTROL.GRP files from your main Windows directory, delete RADIO1.RAD from the Kentrol directory, then follow the Quick Start instructions above. nd turn everything on.
