Anyone interested in swapping .rdf file for the Yaesu FT-51r/11r ? For those not
familiar, these are the frequency/program (template) files that can be uploaded/downloaded via rs-232. If there is enough interest perhaps we can start an

You don't say what part of the world you are from, but I would be
interested in sharing frequency information also. To make this idea
useful, I think that we need to place the .RDF files in an FTP site
somewhere so that you can search for the correct file for an area.
Who maintains an appropriate FTP site where this archive could be kept?
For anyone interested in an .RDF file for the Yaesu FT-51 for Austin, TX
I have both the FT-11r and the FT-51r. Both are great radios. I have had a few and these were the ones I will keep and continue to use. The FT11 is the sm
featured radio you will find. There is now a software/hardware (cable) interface
available to program the radio via RS232 and a computer. This feature alone would
convince me to purchase one. It also has great intermod rejection and as far as mod's,
it has expanded recieve right out of the box. You can mod it for transmit through
it entire RX range via a SMT jumper. I have no complaints about the radio.
You won't regret the purchase!
