  1. DXHELP.EXE -- MS-DOS.  SWL and Ham propagation aid.

  3. This handy utility from WA5ZBC makes chasing that rare dx a bit easier.

  5. Input your latitute and longitude, the target latitude and longitude, and the
  6. solar flux index (obtainable from WWV broadcasts at 18 min.  after each hour)
  7. and the program shows the MUF (Maximum Usable Frequency) for that particular
  8. day on an hour by hour basis, calculates the distance and bearing in case you
  9. have a directional antenna.  Helps you pick optimum times to look for the rare
  10. one, and lets you know when it looks like propagation will just be zilch to
  11. that particular area on a given day.  Good timesaver..
