There is a "mod" to take care of your 2M problem on another ftp site. After
a reset, the 2M module defaults to that Japanese 2M band (144-146MHz). To
reset it to US 2M, you have to turn the backup switch off and hold down the
"2" key on the keypad while turning the rig on. The 430 module only
supports 430-440, if you want to use the upper half of 70cm, you have to
replace the module with the 440-450 one.
: It's also possible to extend TX capabilities ?
There is a switch you can flip inside the rig to make it xmit pretty much
anywhere on HF. Again, the actual mod is on the QRZ site.
Incidentally, I'm looking for a 6M module for my 767, if anyone has one
they'd like to part with.
