The Yaesu FT101b has 11 meter capability based on the old structure of the
Amature radio bands of the time.
Is it possible to modify the unit for 17 meter operation.
Likewise it is capable of 10Mhz recv only, with coverage of the 30 meter band.
The transmit may not be possible (or is it ?) but does anyone know how to
incorporate a standby function into the system. It supports breakin
internally, but I've seen nothing else that would indicate a safe way of
having the recvr protected during xmit.
