  100. Also note that an excellent source is the QRL CD-ROM.  I have one on order
  101. and it looks to be a superset of most of the FTP sites in addition to
  102. a ham call database (with search engine), text from ham and other radio
  103. related newsgroups and a multitude of radio related stuff.  Bye...
  104.

  111. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
  112. Many thanks to Tom for posting this previously, I have used this list to great
  113. effect, and have looked-up mods for others posting requests here...but I've
  114. got other things to do, so folks, go hunt 'em down.  For whatever reason,
  115. archie dosen't report many of these locations, so this list is a necessity.
  116.
  117. Now maybe we will see a reduction in redundant requests for mods?
  118. If you don't know what this list is for, and you have a real (not just UUCP
  119. dial-up) internet connection ask someone who knows about "anonymous ftp"
  120. Even if you only have a dial-up, most listservs honor e-mail requests for
  121. files--if you know just where they are directorywise.
  122.
  123. Ciao,
  124. Michael Dahl
  125. Again, thanks Tom!
