DOS & CDVIEW
If you have DOS go to your CD-Drive letter, and run the program RUNME.BAT
RUNME.BAT will allow you to run the CD-ROM in a non invasive mode. (It will
not use any of your hard drive to store installation programs)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
CDVIEW will execute the following types of files: EXE, COM, TXT, DOC, PCX, GIF,
BMP, ZIP. CDVIWEW will not execute BAT or other file names not listed above.
To operate a BAT file such as the INSTALL.BAT or UNINSTAL.BAT you will need to
quit CDVIEW and type INSTALL.BAT at the dos prompt. If you have problems with
CALLSIGN.EXE while running under CDVIEW, quit CDVIEW and operate DOS6.BAT.
A complete list of commands appears at the bottom of your screen when you are
running the CDVIEW program. Pressing H will bring up the <H>elp screen with a
detailed explination of all the CDVIEW commands and thier full instructions.
The Home and End keys perform special functions when browsing in directories.
CDVIEW operates in the MS-DOS enviroment and has been designed to operate with
8088 through P-200 microprocessors. CDVIEW assumes you have a color monitor, if
you are using a monochrome monitor please press V after the program starts to
switch to a monochrome display output.
The most important things to remember in CDVIEW is to use the I command. This
gives you detailed <I>nformation for the files that you see on your screen.
