  1. Jpole.exe is an MSDOS program that calculates the lengths of a twinlead
  2. (300 ohm TV line) J pole antenna.  Give it a frequency in the VHF or UHF
  3. range, and it gives lengths and a diagram showing construction details.
  4. It traps out bogus inputs (zero frequency and /or non numerical inputs).
  5. Public domain program.   
  6. There's also a jpole.ico windows icon, and a jpole.pif file for windows.

  8. mcd.com is a simple command for creating and then going to a new 
  9. directory.  In one step, instead of two.  I have forgotten to cd
  10. into a new directory after md-ing it.  This command avoids that.
  11. Syntax:  MCD <newdirname>

  13. wa2iseqj.exe is a self displaying "QSL" card (WA2ISE) with a space
  14. picture, and a diagram of a 2 meter twinlead Jploe antenna.

  16. Wa2ise.exe is a self displaying image of myself, wa2ise.  :-)

  18. Hamsh2.jpg is an image file showing a constructed 2 meter twinlead
  19. jpole antenna, and an old packet rig.

  21. Coax.txt is a listing of many various RG numbers of coax.  Impedance,
  22. attenuation, voltage, and such.

  24. 5tube.txt is an ASCII schematic diagram of the old  "All American Five"
  25. vacuum tube AM radio common from the 40's to the 70's.

  27. AA5tube.com is a self displaying image file of an "All American Five"
  28. vacuum tube AM radio.  aa5tube.gif is the same image.
