  1. This NAMENET.INF file contains the set up producing comma 
  2. delimited merge file outputs as required by some word 
  3. processors like First Word and First Mail.

  5. As set up each field is in quotes. The settings can be changed 
  6. in the dialogue that appears after you have selected output to 
  7. merge file. To remove the quotes click on the quotes button  so 
  8. that it is not selected. If you have the fields quoted then 
  9. NameNet provides the punctuation for the address. Otherwise the 
  10. commas are removed if the end of line text contains a comma.

  12. If the header button is selected then the first record output 
  13. will be a dummy record giving file information. Deselecting it 
  14. will prevent this.

  16. When printing to file you will see that the line feed button 
  17. does not appear in the normal printer dialogue. This is because 
  18. the end of line is controlled entirely by the End of line text 
  19. in the dialogue that appears just after you have selected 
  20. output to file. If you wish to remove line feeds then delete 
  21. the LF symbol (it looks like a bell).

  23. I hope that you will find this a flexible way of altering the 
  24. output to your wishes. Any new settings you make can be saved 
  25. using the SET Output defaults menu option.
