  4. Please, note that this is the fifth v5.10beta release (the earlier ones
  5. were dated 960626, 960710, 960806 and 970520).
  6. As always there are bug fixes and new interesting things in this one.
  7.  
  8. The MGIFv5 executable cointained in the same archive as this file is
  9. a beta release. It must not to be redistributed in any form.
  10. If you find this archive anywhere but at the site mentioned below, please
  11. notify the maintainer of this.
  12.  
  13. To keep this archive small (among other reasons), only the most necessary
  14. files have been included. There may be no documentation or start up files,
  15. for example, so you will probably need a standard MGIFv5 distribution
  16. archive as well (the latest full release is v5.01).
  17. The files in this archive should replace the old ones.

  19. Look at the end of the included history file for information about what's
  20. new in this beta version.
