@{B}1. About the program@{b}
When you have a first look at the files supplied with this program you
will see a very, very large resource file. This file contains many
large colour icons and that's why it is so long. 1 MByte is the absolute
minimum.
The icons are in 256 colours and so they look best in that resolution.
Any ST that can display 256 colours is sufficient.
This program is a clean gem application: Run it as an accessory or
program. It also supports BubbleGEM help and GEMScript (Appgetlongname
and shutdown).

@{B}2. The Questions@{b}
The questions vary in their difficulty but you should at least know
the TV series to have a chance. This release displays whether your
answer was right or wrong.
There are only multiple choice questions: A helping picture
appears at the left.
There are currently pictures for: The 1st, 3rd, 4th and the 7th
doctor, "Ace", Brigadier, the Earth, Tardis, a Dalek and the Doctor
Who logo. All pics are in 256 colours and they use the standard
palette. Some questions choose a random picture.

There is a mod file supplied with this program. You can start it
with "Elly" which you will find in the "Elly" folder.
There is no autostart of the MOD file. It's up to you to select and
play it during game play.

@{B}7. Copyright@{b}
All ware names, person names etc. are owned by their companies.
"Dr.Who" is copyright by BBC Television.
The questions are written by Patrick Wigfull. Visit his great Dr. Who
homepage at:
I don't know who has the copyright for the pictures. I guess BBC or
Fox Television have the rights because they are scans or digitalized.
It's the same with the MOD file: I have found it on nitro9 but there
is no author mentioned in the file. Anyway, I think it's public domain
so you can copy it also without the program.
This program is written with the Face Value application builder and
GFA-Basic 3.6TT. Compiled using Licom.
You are free to spread the COMPLETE DR_WHO.LZH archive around. No
files may be changed. Distribution on Cover Disks/CD ROMs is only
allowed with my permission.

@{B}10. Add your own questions@{b}
All questions are now stored outside the program. This means that you can
either cheat (:-() or add/edit questions.
Every line represents one question, multi-line questions are not allowed.
The question itself can be up to 4*41 lines long.
Example:
What is special about season|twenty-three?
"|" forces the game to go to the next line in the game window.
@{B}The format@{b}
The first three letters define the image that should be displayed. These
are the images that are available:
ACE: Ace, one of the doctor's compagnons.
BRI: Brigardier.
COY: Sylvester McCoy - the 7th doctor.
DAL: A Dalek.
DR1: The first doctor.
DR3: The 3rd doctor.
DR4: The 4th doctor.
DR5: The 5th doctor.
PLA: Planet Earth.
RND: Random image.
TAR: The Tardis.
WHO: The game logo.
A tab space follows afterwards.
Next you type in an M (capital letters) and another tab space.
The question follows next. The lines are seperated by an "|"; after
you have typed in the question press Tab.
The answers are just like the questions. You have to define three answers which
are seperated by an "|".
A tab space follows afterwards.
Now type in the correct number, e.g. "2" if answer number two is correct.
The next thing is optional: two lines of text which are displayed
in the message window after the player has anwered the questions.
The lines can be up to 50 chars each and are seperated by an "|".
If a "#" is the first char of the first line the message will be only
displayed if the player answered the question correctly.
