VERSION HISTORY
===============
v1.00 - Initial release.
v1.10 -
* Modified program so that program icon no longer appears when using Alt + Tab task switcher.
* Altered menu items so that they're disabled if Details or About box are already showing,
to prevent problems when trying to make an already visible modal window visible.
* Modified Registry settings so that data is stored in the correct place -
(HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\JTSoftware\Memory Monitor). Settings are now stored
on a per-user basis, not globally.
* Added Registry defaults so that if the program is copied to another system
without installing, it still works.
* Implemented more efficient tooltip procedure.
* Now properly object-oriented with tray icon class.
* Right-clicking on form produces "What's This?" menu to provide context help - as per
shell guidelines (in addition to standard question-mark context help button).
* Fixed bug where right-clicking on Memory Load gauge on Details page failed to show
context help.
v1.20 -
* Fixed bug whereby clicking with the help cursor on the Settings tab brought up a help topic
by mistake.
* Changed program to include new standardised JTSoftware About box.
* Added TProgramCheck component to notify user if the program file has been modified.
* Fixed bug with imagelist controls and Comctl32.dll.
KNOWN LIMITATIONS
=================
A problem occurs if the Windows colour scheme is changed "on the fly" whilst
the program is running - there will probably be a rectangle surrounding the Update
Interval trackbar control which is still coloured in the old colours. This is a
limitation that applies to all programs developed using visual or RAD tools.
The way round the problem is to quit Memory Monitor, change the colour scheme and
then restart the program.
MANUAL UNINSTALLATION - REGISTRY ENTRIES
========================================
In the event that InstallShield is unable to uninstall Memory Monitor automaticaly,
you should delete the program folder (called Memory Monitor by default) and its contents
in the usual way. The program adds two keys to the Windows registry. You can safely
delete these, provided that you feel comfortable and happy to use the Registry Editor
(REGEDIT.EXE or for Windows NT, REGEDT32.EXE). Edit the registry at your own risk!
