  26. Well, this i just a little compilation of Copper routines I made in time ...
  27. I didn't really plan to do something REAL with it, until I realized that we
  28. couldn't finish our demo, as planned, for The Party III :(
  29. So I got some pictures/fonts together and assembled this piece of art.
  30. I'm sorry for there's no music, but I was first thinking of using our
  31. SB Player, and realized too late, that NO soundblaster routine can be as
  32. fast to compete up with fullscreen copper effects. Then I made a simple fast
  33. Adlib player at the first day of the party; which didn't sound very well
  34. altogether. With only few hours away from the deadline I was forced to
  35. release it without sound, since the alternative would have been BAD sound,
  36. letting people grip to the Reset keys ;)

  38. Some word about the routines used in this intro:
  39.  
  40. Every thing's a Copper Effect, either thru palette or other registers.
  41. Every thing's also SUPPOSED to run on a 386SX-16 ( so they told me ),
  42. but you know what a slow VGA can be to this :(
  43. 3 different graphics modes are used in there, and none of them is standard.
  44. The 3D scroller function in the end is a nondocumented function of
  45. standard-VGAs :)

  47. Anyway, this is now out. And I have to say a final word about some of the
  48. routines:

  50. The two ball-filled screen zoomers and the overlaying checker boards were
  51. not original by me; but I got the inspiration from some preview routines of
  52. S!P's demo ( which will be out the same time ). As I said, I didn't really
  53. think of releasing them when I coded it; but somehow it went this way ...

  55. I'll type no longer, I'm really dried out since I'm without sleep since 2
  56. days ... So, enjoy!
