  9. You are Arizona Smith, world-famous archaeologist and spelunker, seeking
  10. out lost treasures from an ancient civilization.  You must enter caves
  11. and uncover valuables by moving aside the boulders and other obstacles
  12. that hide these treasures.  However, the risks are plentiful for each site
  13. has traps, but very nice rewards as well, and other archaeologists are
  14. competing for the same treasures.  Can you retrieve all the treasures
  15. before your opponent, without being blown up?

  50. HOW TO INSTALL FORTUNE RAIDERS ONTO YOUR HARD DRIVE
  51. ---------------------------------------------------
  52. To install the game onto your hard drive, run Microsoft Windows, and
  53. select "File" then "Run..." from the main menu in the Program Manager.  
  54. If you are running Windows 95, select the "Run..." command from the Start 
  55. menu instead.  Enter the full path, and run the program SETUP.EXE.  For 
  56. example, if you are installing from a disk in drive A:, type A:SETUP and
  57. then click the mouse on the OK button or press RETURN.

  59. Follow the on-screen installation instructions to proceed.  You will be
  60. asked to enter the path to the directory on your hard drive where you wish
  61. to install the game files, or to accept the default choice.  The installation
  62. program will copy the files to your hard drive and create a Program
  63. Manager group which will contain the game.  To play the game, simply open
  64. the program group, and double click the mouse on the icon of the game.

  79. HOW TO REGISTER FORTUNE PACK

  81. The registration price for Fortune Pack is only $14.95 + $2 s&h.

  84. 1.  REGISTER BY MAIL
  85.     To register Fortune Pack by mail, simply print out the registration form
  86.     and mail it with your payment.  You can either print out the file
  87.     ORDER.FRM in your FORTPACK directory, or you can run the game and select
  88.     Help | How To Register from the game menu, and follow the directions.

  90. 2.  REGISTER ON COMPUSERVE
  91.     If you have access to CompuServe, GO SWREG to enter the shareware
  92.     registration database, and register PRODUCT ID 11254.  CompuServe will
  93.     bill your account directly and notify us to ship a disk out to you
  94.     right away.

  96. We recommend registration by CompuServe for users outside the United States
  97. since it is faster and easier than obtaining a check drawn on U.S. funds.

  115. DEFINITION OF SHAREWARE
  116. -----------------------
  117. Shareware distribution gives users a chance to try software before buying 
  118. it.  If you try a Shareware program and continue using it, you are 
  119. expected to register.  Individual programs differ on details -- some 
  120. request registration while others require it, some specify a maximum 
  121. trial period.  With registration, you get anything from the simple right 
  122. to continue using the software to an updated program with printed manual.

  126. stated below. Shareware authors are accomplished programmers, just like 
  127. commercial authors, and the programs are of comparable quality.  (In both 
  128. cases, there are good programs and bad ones!) The main difference is in 
  129. the method of distribution.  The author specifically grants the right to 
  130. copy and distribute the software, either to all and sundry or to a 
  131. specific group.  For example, some authors require written permission 
  132. before a commercial disk vendor may copy their Shareware.

  135. find software that suits your needs and pocketbook, whether it's
