yMAPS, VIEWS AND MOVEMENT MADE EASY:
b THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO SEE WHERE
YOU ARE AND WHERE YOU HAVE BEEN.
oTHE MAP: ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE
SCREEN A MAP IS DISPLAYED. EACH
SQUARE IS A 10 FOOT SEGMENT OF THE
DUNGEON. AN ARROW SHOWS YOUR
POSITION AND DIRECTION IN THE MAP.
DOORS ARE REPRESENTED BY TINY LINES
THAT CROSS WALLS. MAPS ARE ALWAYS
SAVED AND RECALLED WHEN NEEDED.
g3D VIEWS: YOU ARE PROVIDED WITH 4
3D VIEWS SHOWING FRONT, LEFT, RIGHT,
AND BEHIND. AT FIRST, THESE VIEWS
ARE VERY CONFUSING, BUT THEY ARE
ESSENTIAL BECAUSE THEY ALLOW YOU TO
SEE MONSTERS AT A DISTANCE AND
CHOOSE TO PURSUE OR FLEE FROM THEM.

yHOW TO WALK:
r MOVEMENT IS DONE BY EITHER
STEPPING FORWARD, OR TURNING LEFT,
RIGHT, OR BEHIND. IF YOU SEE A DOOR
IN THE SMALL LEFT VIEW, AND YOU
PRESS THE LEFT ARROW OR CLICK ON THE
LEFT VIEW WITH THE MOUSE, YOU WILL
TURN TO THE LEFT, AND THE DOOR WILL
THEN APPEAR IN THE FRONT VIEW.
b IF YOU GET CONFUSED, JUST KEEP
MOVING AROUND AT RANDOM UNTIL YOU
FIGURE IT OUT. PRETTY SOON, YOU'LL
HAVE NO PROBLEM MOVING EFFICIENTLY
THROUGH THE DUNGEONS.
g SOMETIMES YOU MAY BECOME
TRAPPED IN THE DUNGEON WITH NO WAY
TO GO UP OR DOWN. IF THIS HAPPENS,
HIT 'D' TO DIG A HOLE IN THE FLOOR.
