  1. Strategic Bomber for Windows 3.1 or 3.11

  4. After extracting the files from bomber17.zip, you will find 
  5. the file setup.exe and other files. Go to the Windows File 
  6. Manager and double click on the file setup.exe.

  8. Setup will now take care of the rest. The files with a 
  9. "_" as the last character of the extension can be deleted
  10. after setup completed the installation.

  12. Be sure to keep an copy of the original zip file for backup
  13. purposes.

  15. Note that if your Windows display is not 256 colours, the 
  16. graphics will not have a good appearance.

  18. If you plan to run this game on Windows 95, take note of the
  19. following:

  21. The Windows 95 Taskbar confuses the Strategic Bomber 
  22. co-ordinate system, causing a minor overlap of the Bomber's
  23. nose over the playing field in the start position.

  27. Click on the Windows 95 Start button. Go to Settings/Taskbar.
  28. If Always On Top is enabled, makes sure that Auto hide is also
  29. enabled.
