  5. Thanks for trying WinGo! for Windows. This program is released as shareware.
  6. If you like it and intend to continue using it, please send $10 ($15 for an
  7. update disk) as described in the online help.

  18. WINGO.EXE    Any directory.  Must be located with WINGO.HLP.
  19. WINGO.HLP    Any directory.  Must be located with WINGO.EXE.
  20. THREED.VBX    The WINDOWS or WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.

  23. IMPORTANT NOTE: WinGo! is a Visual Basic application.  Because of this, it
  24. is necessary to have the file VBRUN200.DLL in your PATH.  Normally, this
  25. file is located in the WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory with most other DLLs.  This
  26. file can be found on most BBS's and other online services as well as from
  27. most computer user groups.

  30. Creating the icon
  31. -----------------
  32. If you already know how to install a Windows application, then place the 
  33. executable file (WINGO.EXE) wherever you like.  Otherwise, copy the 
  34. program file into your Windows directory and run Windows.  Then, 
  35. follow these steps:
  36.  
  37.     1. In the Program Manager, open your Games icon ( if it is not 
  38.        already open ).
  39.  
  40.     2. Select the File menu in the menu bar of the Program 
  41.        Manager and make the New... selection
  42.  
  43.     3. When the dialog box opens, press the OK button.
  44.  
  45.     4. If you are using Windows 3.1, at this point you need to
  46.        press the BROWSE button to open the file selector.
  47.        Use the controls in this window to display the directory
  48.        that contains the files in the WinGo! archive.
  49.  
  50.     5. In the file selector, scroll down to the bottom of the list.  
  51.        Double click on WINGO.EXE.
  52.  
  53.     6. In the next dialog that appears, press Change Icon.  If the 
  54.        icon shown is not acceptable, press the View Next button until
  55.        a more appropriate icon is displayed.  When you are ready,
  56.        press OK and OK again.

  58. The WinGo! icon should now appear in your Games group.  The 
  59. program can be run by double clicking on the new icon.
