I just got a Cmoodore PET model 2032 get me a step closer to
nostaliga perfection... :)
However, this baby don't work and I'm not very familiar with these
computers so I would appriciate any help to get starting with the
hardware debugging.
When I started it was everything black and dead, but as I got extra
6502 and 6522 handy did I try to exchange this to see what happens.
Now is the screen filled up with messed up random characters all over
the screen when I turn it on. Power supply seems to work propery
(measured).
What I am looking for now is:
Was this some common problem on PETs, and if yes, what's the fix?
What's the pinconfiguration of the expansionports?
How to make a resetbutton?
Pinconfiguration for the PET chips.
An EPROM labeled "BEE 3.1", is that the BASIC? Standard PET BASIC, or?
Is there a repairguide for the PET anywhere?
Any help appriciated! Thanks!
