  16. Well, it won't be a true .mod player, but it IS a four-voice digital
  17. player, playing sampled waveforms (not using the soundchips channels). 
  18. And I got the IRQ to work last night, but I would STILL like
  19. some more info on the interrupt handlings.
  20. Oh, the VIC20 has got DAC-capabilities just like the C-64, via the
  21. volume register. Just poke your 4-bit samplevalue to the volume-control
  22. and voila! you got sampling on the VIC!
  23. And with a little luck, I might finish a mega-demo for this beast of a
  24. computer, since I got lots of nice ideas... 
  25. Anyway, the 6502 is only 40% slower than the ATARI 8-bits, and THEY
  26. have a real .mod player mixing sounds at 8.25kHz, so why not the VIC20
  27. or the C-64???
