Well, it won't be a true .mod player, but it IS a four-voice digital
player, playing sampled waveforms (not using the soundchips channels).
And I got the IRQ to work last night, but I would STILL like
some more info on the interrupt handlings.
Oh, the VIC20 has got DAC-capabilities just like the C-64, via the
volume register. Just poke your 4-bit samplevalue to the volume-control
and voila! you got sampling on the VIC!
And with a little luck, I might finish a mega-demo for this beast of a
computer, since I got lots of nice ideas...
Anyway, the 6502 is only 40% slower than the ATARI 8-bits, and THEY
have a real .mod player mixing sounds at 8.25kHz, so why not the VIC20
or the C-64???
