Subject: Help Me With Vic RS232 Please !!!
OK, I rececntly built an RS232 kit that connects to
the Vic 20 User Port. I built it from an old Maplin kit,
and plan to use it with a modem. Questions:
Once I have it hooked up, how do I test it without a
Terminal Program ? Could someone please send me a listing
to do something like take the Modem off hook and dial a
number ?
Will the kit be compatible with a C64 ? I read that most
things that were plugged into the Vic User Port
(Including the Vic Modem.) could be used with the C64 User
Port... ?
I have a C64C.
Please reply to: ppieroni@ppse.win-uk.net, as I don't
often read news.
THANKX !!!
