  17. Hi Shawn. Yes, the cable carries a standard NTSC signal for channel 3 
  18. or 4. Unlike the C64, the RF modulator in the VIC is in the cable.
  19. However, since your TV has input connectors for baseband video, you 
  20. would do better to make a cable to connect the audio/video output jack 
  21. of the VIC to your TV. This is the way to avoid the modulator alto-
  22. gether
