I've been using my VIC-20 with 32k of memory and the VIC Forth cartridge
from HES/Tom Zimmer. I've written some 'words' (subroutines in non Forth
terminology) that call the kernal to store 1 K blocks of source code
that I write in files. Normally I save 3 blocks to a file.
Everyonce in a while, the 1581 drive just will not save the entire file -
it will only save a fraction of it for reasons I don't understand.
Later it works ok and saves the entire file.
Does anybody have any idea what is going wrong here?
It's probably best to respond to my email address about this since I
read this newsgroup irregularly.
Thanks!!
