Bank select switches, sorta. They go to lines labeled "BLKx", to determine
where in memory the 8K is "seen." Block 1 or 3 is standardish for Vic20
Basic-accessible memory. Block 5 is typical for ROM game cartridges.
Only four per any 8K are used. I have seen 8K expanders from Commodore,
that were just half-populated 16K expanders, internally; that's why there
are 8 of them.
I wrote up a humongous file on Vic20 stuff; think its up on ftp.funet.fi
now, but ain't sure. It includes pinouts and additional information.
