You should be able to use an off-the-shelf modulator with the VIC.
You'll have to check your reference books but I believe one of the
pins in the DIN connector for the video has a standard color composite
signal, so you can build a cable that connects to the shield and the
audio and composite video pins on a DIN connector on one end, and to
the RF modulator on the other. Shielding is very important in this
sort of thing remember! You can then connect the RF modulator to your
TV set. If you can find an RF modulator with video and audio inputs
and an RF output you can use one of your existing cables.
Note that just about every VCR in existence has the necessary inputs
and outputs to function as your RF modulator!
