¢ ---------------------------------¢ DESK¢ ---------------------------------¢¢ The Desk window controls the¢ appearance of the window¢ environment.¢¢ The DESK window behaves somewhat¢ differently from the other¢ windows in that selections are¢ made by left or right stick¢ movement. Any time the button is¢ pressed, the window disappears. ¢ All conditions that were chosen¢ before pressing the button remain¢ in force.¢¢¢¢¢ Those conditions are:¢¢ SPEED - 2 (slow) or 4 (fast).This¢ ----- controls the speed of the¢ arrow around the Desktop¢ and the speed of the¢ cursor when Doodling.¢¢ BORDR - Changes the color of the¢ ----- border as a brightness of¢ the color selected using¢ BACK.¢¢ TEXT - Text brightness. The text¢ ---- is also related to the¢ color of BACK.¢¢ BACK - Background color. 15 to¢ ---- choose from, each with 8¢ brightnesses (see BRITE).¢¢ BRITE - Background brightness. 0¢ ----- is the darkest, 14 the¢ brightest in even¢ numbered steps.¢¢ SAVE - Creates DESKTOP.CNF file¢ ---- to configure your choices¢ every time you load¢ Desktop. You may change¢ them any time you'd like.¢ Leaving the Desk window¢ With the YES option¢ selected will write the¢ file, even if no changes¢ have occured. If no .CNF¢ file is present, the¢ default values will appear¢ which are listed below.¢¢ Default values:¢ ---------------¢¢ SPEED:2¢ BORDR:0¢ TEXT :0¢ BACK :0¢ BRITE:12¢ SAVE :NO¢¢¢ LIGHTS OUT!!!!¢¢ When changing values, the text¢ will occasionally vanish. This¢ happens when you choose the same¢ BACK and TEXT colors. Move the¢ stick left or right and you'll¢ see again. If you get lost, try¢ to "feel around" and get to the¢ correct spot. If you are not¢ that familiar with Desktop, make¢ sure the Desktop disk is in Drive¢ 1 and hit RESET.¢XXX¢¢¢¢
