  90. The installation procedure for Cumberland Diary is quite simple.  The
  91. package includes a program which automates the entire process.  You will
  92. need about 1.6Mb of available disk space on the hard drive on which you
  93. plan to install the program.

  95. The exact steps you need to take will depend on how you received the
  96. package.

  98. INSTALLING FROM DISKETTES
  99.  
  100. To install from diskette(s), you need to perform the following steps.

  102.    o  Place the distribution diskette in the appropriate diskette drive.

  104.    o  Execute the "INSTALL" program contained on the distribution
  105.    diskette by: Selecting the "File" Menu from Program Manager. Then
  106.    select the "Run" option and enter the command "a:install" (if the
  107.    diskette is in Drive A:).

  109.    o  Follow the instructions presented by the installation program.

  111. INSTALLING FROM A HARD DRIVE

  113. If you downloaded the program from a BBS (or received it in the form of
  114. an archive file from some other source), you will need to perform the
  115. following steps.

  117.    o Create a sub-directory on your hard drive where you wish the program
  118.    to reside (such as C:\WDIARY). Extract the contents of the archive
  119.    file to this sub-directory.

  121.    o Start Windows and execute the install program by: Selecting the
  122.    "File" Menu from Program Manager. Then select the "Run" option and
  123.    enter the command "a:\wdiary\install" (if you used a subdirectory
