  1. X.BAT is a freeware utility for Windows 95 by Allsoft Software.

  3. Function:

  5. A quick exit from a DOS window.
  6. Instead of having to type exit to close a DOS window,
  7. just press the x key and then Enter.
  8. You will hear a beep and the window will close.

  10. Installation:

  12. Copy x.bat and xx.txt(for the beep!) to your Windows directory.
  13. That's it!
