- You can change the name of the drive and the directory
where MoneyBox is to be installed.
Model accounts to be set up
- You can choose a set of accounts that best suits your needs.
The available options are : Household, Student, Business
Professional. You can also choose an empty set of account
headings.
After installation you can add or delete account names to suit your own needs. f
- Select the Install button to install MoneyBox or the Cancel button to quit
without installing.
Installation terminated
Installation of programs and data is incomplete. Q
Please check that the target directory was correctly specified, eg: C:\ACCOUNTS <
You may need to erase the incorrectly specified directory.
Existing account set
You have already have accounts set up in the selected directory. {
You can safely continue with the installation which will only replace the programs. It will not affect the existing data.
Alternatively, you can install this new version in a different directory. This will take more disk space, but you will then be able to use either the old or the new versions of the program to process existing data.
It is not recommended to erase the existing directory and then re-install the programs. You will lose existing data unless it is backed up.
Exit Install
If you quit the install program, no MoneyBox programs or data will be set up.
DOS Users help
Install created a batch file MONEYBOX.BAT in your root directory of C: p
To run the DOS version of MONEYBOX, you should type MONEYBOX at the DOS prompt and then press the 'Enter' key. g
The Windows version of MoneyBox also reads the files of MoneyBox DOS without any conversion required. k
Install has also created a demonstration set of personal accounts for 1985/86 in \{your directory}}\DEMO.
Use the "Whose A/cs" which is the first menu item on the first panel of the program. Select year 1986 to access and browse through a real year's accounts.

1) From the File menu of the program manager select
the command New
2) In the dialog box which appears, select New Item
3) Click the Browse button
4) With the File dialog, go to your chosen directory
and select MONEYBOX.EXE
5) Press the 'Enter' key to confirm your selection
You can now run MONEYBOX by double-clicking the butterfly icon or selecting the icon and then pressing the 'Enter' key. k

If you are currently running WINDOWS, you should now quit Windows and type WIN at the DOS prompt to restart WINDOWS. v
The next time WINDOWS starts, you will be asked if you want to create the group and icons for the MONEYBOX programs.
