  10. This file contains information about problems that may occur 
  11. while installing or running the FrameViewer application. 
  12. If you experience problems installing or running FrameViewer 4, 
  13. read this document before you attempt to install or run 
  14. FrameViewer again.

  16. For additional last-minute tips and information, open the 
  17. online FrameViewer Release Notes after you have successfully 
  18. installed FrameViewer.

  21. Installing FrameViewer 4
  22. ========================

  24. There are no known incompatibilities with the FrameViewer 
  25. Installer program. If you experience difficulty installing 
  26. FrameViewer, make sure your computer will support FrameViewer; 
  27. check "Welcome to FrameViewer" for information on supported
  28. system configurations. Then contact Frame Technical Support.

  30. "The path is not valid."

  33. During installation, this error message appears when you 
  34. attempt to install FrameViewer to a file instead of a directory. 
  35. Try installing FrameViewer again and specify a directory instead of 
  36. a file in the Destination Path dialog box.

  38. "DSHELL caused a GPF in module MSTEST.EXE"

  40. If you see this error message during installation, try resetting your
  41. video driver to VGA. Then reinstall FrameViewer. Frame recommends
  42. contacting your video card manufacturer about the availability of an
  43. updated driver.

  48. Insufficient memory error
  49. ---------------------------------------------

  51. If your Windows TEMP directory has less than 35K of space 
  52. available, FrameViewer may unexpectedly quit. Before starting 
  53. FrameViewer, remove any unneeded temporary or swap files from 
  54. your Windows TEMP directory and make sure that you have adequate space
  55. available in this directory.
