  6. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  9. 1) Q. Is it possible for Zeek to collect all the flowers and treasure chests,
  10.       and to detonate all the bombs on every level?
  11.  
  12.    A. It is possible for Zeek to collect all treasure chests on all levels in
  13.       both Part One and Part Two, but he can't always get all the flowers.
  14.       Occasionally there are bombs, magic crystals, apples and other things
  15.       that he doesn't need or can't get. This is also true in all of the
  16.       puzzle packs offered by Sidewalk Software, but may not apply to third
  17.       party puzzle packs.

  20. 2) Q. Is there an easy way to get to a desired level other than skipping one
  21.       level at a time?
  22.  
  23.    A. The easiest way to get to a level is to save the game there, and then
  24.       restore the game at that point the next time you want to try the level.
  25.       You can save the game on each level if you wish, and then quickly get
  26.       to any level by restoring the game there.

  29. 3) Q. After saving and restoring the game, I'm back at the beginning of the
  30.       level. Is there a way to save and restore in the middle of a level?
  31.  
  32.    A. After restoring the game you will be at the start of the level that you
  33.       were on when you saved the game.

  36. 4) Q. When you goof, is there a way to back up a step or two?
  37.  
  38.    A. When you have a fatal encounter with one of the local hazards or when
  39.       you find yourself in a hopeless situation, you must restart the level
  40.       or skip it.

  43. 5) Q. I have tried everything on this level, and I give up. What can I do
  44.       now, and how do you solve the puzzle?
  45.  
  46.    A. If you just can't figure out one particular puzzle, save the game at
  47.       that spot and skip the level. You may be able to come back and solve it
  48.       after working some of the later puzzles. If you need help, a solution
  49.       sheet is available from Sidewalk Software.

  52. 6) Q. I saved a game in Zeek the Geek Part Two, and I tried to restore it
  53.       after loading a puzzle pack. When I did this, I got an error message.
  54.       Should the game have been restored?
  55.  
  56.    A. A saved game can only be restored into the game or puzzle pack from
  57.       which it was saved. If you keep a lot of saved games on disk, you
  58.       might try giving them names that indicate where you were at the time
  59.       of each save. Thus, PP3-23.ZSG could be the file name of a saved game
  60.       at level 23 in puzzle pack 3.

  63. 7) Q. How do I order Zeek the Geek Part Two or other Zeek the Geek products?
  64.  
  65.    A. To order, use a text editor such as Notepad or Wordpad to fill in and
  66.       print the text file "ORDER.TXT" that's in the same directory with
  67.       Zeek the Geek, or simply include the information on a plain piece of
  68.       paper. Just indicate which package(s) you wish to purchase, specify
  69.       a "ship to" name and address, and include a check or money order for
  70.       the full purchase price. Remember to include sales tax for California
  71.       orders. Send your order to:

  85.    A. Descriptive information and prices for all the Zeek the Geek products
  86.       are in your copy of Zeek the Geek Part One (and Part Two). Just start
  87.       your copy of the game, click on the "?" button, and scroll down to
  88.       "THE ZEEK FAMILY OF PROGRAMS" to  view the descriptive information.
