- What does such a diverse group such as the above have in common?
-
- The above list, randomly selected, is only a small sample of
- the notable people waiting to greet you with their most memorable
- sayings in Famous Quotes 2.1.
-
- In all, there are 5,640 quotes in this set, available for random
- display.
-
- The one feature that makes Famous_Quotes, 2.1, unique, is the high
- caliber, stimulating nature, of its quotes. It is believed that there
- are no quotes here that are either crude or vulgar, (i.e. it is
- believed that these quotes are suitable for the family computer).
- Famous_Quotes 2.1, will provide quotes that will stimulate,
- inspire, amuse, and entertain.

- HOW TO USE THIS PROGRAM :
-
- For a demo, just type in FQ20. A quote will appear on
- the screen.
-
- My favorite use for this program is to place it at the end of my
- autoexec.bat so that a quote appears each time I boot my computer.
- Another possible use, that I have seen implemented on some BBS boards,
- is to display a quote or thought for the day when the user logs off the
- BBS system.
-
- To run the program outside the batch file, at the prompt, enter
- famous20, followed by the path to the data file, famous20.quo, followed
- by the path to the index file, famous20.idx. For example,
-
- C> famous20 [path]famous20.quo [path]famous20.idx [options]
-
- For the non-registered version, there currently is only one option.
- If -N is added to the end of the command line, the quote number will be
- displayed on the line above the quote.
