  1. This file contains one half of the graphics file information necessary
  2. to view screenshots in Game Bytes Magazine, issue #12.  You must also 
  3. download GB12-G-1.ZIP to view these images.  GB12.ZIP must also be 
  4. downloaded.  This contains the reader plus all the articles.  To use
  5. these files, do the following:
  6.  
  7. 1.  Copy the all three files (GB12.ZIP, GB12-G-1.ZIP, and GB12-G-2.ZIP)
  8. to any directory and unzip all the files using pkunzip.exe (2.04g).  
  9. Without doing anything further, you will be able to run Game Bytes, but 
  10. not view any of the screen shots.

  12. 2.  Run the COMBINE.BAT batch file to recreate the graphics compressed
  13. file.
  14.  
  15. 3.  You will end up with at least the following files in your directory:
  16.      
  17.     GAMEBYTE.EXE
  18.     DATA.GB
  19.     GRAPHICS.GB
  20.  
  21. 4.  At your convenience, you may delete the .zip files and the .001 and
  22. .002 files.

  24. 5.  Run your graphics card VESA driver.
  25.  
  26. 6.  Start the magazine by running the GAMEBYTE.EXE program.  The mouse and
  27. keyboard will be active.
