In Today�s Air Force, there is a revitalization of both purpose and capability that is well underway. New aircraft and new technologies are being used to maximize our capability and interoperability with our allies. Our strategic plans include the need to remain �cutting-edge� in these areas well into the 21st century. Our focus has shifted from the Cold War to existing and anticipated international threats, as well as helping those in need around the world. Our Air Force is more flexible and responsive today. Technology plays a big part, but equipment is only part of the story. We need smart, professional operators to apply these tools to the jobs of protecting Canadians and our allies and to helping bring relief to those in crisis around the globe. Our operators, particularly our pilots, are pivotal in the roles we play at home and abroad.We are hiring university graduates and students now to become pilots in the Canadian Air Force.
