  8.     ║ Large amounts of minerals and ores can be found below the         ║
  9.     ║ planet's surface, but the enormous volcanic activity that created ║
  10.     ║ these riches has thrown up a large number of perils and hazards.  ║
  11.     ║ The full game features 34 levels with quirky animated characters  ║
  12.     ║ and stunning color backgrounds.  Players can explore one of the   ║
  13.     ║ largest playing fields of any computer game, totaling hundreds of ║
  14.     ║ square feet in "virtual" screen size.                             ║

  16.     ║ The object of DIGGERS is to gather enough gems and gold -- using  ║
  17.     ║ pure mining skill or brute force -- to fulfill the quota for each ║
  18.     ║ level.  But watch out!  The unscrupulous rival miners are after   ║
  19.     ║ your loot as well and will stop at nothing to get it, even if it  ║
  20.     ║ means planting your diggers six feet under.  The gems are added   ║
  21.     ║ to your bank account or used to buy better mining equipment.      ║
