GETTING STARTED:
Make sure the following files are present:
ASYLUM3.EXE - contains the main program
VBRUN200.DLL - required by main program to function properly
FILEMSG.MSG - contains the help file
README.BAT - allows you to view these instructions
SHOWR.EXE - used to view text files
INSTRUCT.DOC - contains the file you are reading now
FILE_ID.DIZ - for BBS use
These files MUST all reside within the SAME directory for the program
to operate properly (forexample, you might want to copy all the files
into a directory called ASYLUM3).
RUNNING ASYLUM UNDER WINDOWS
Follow these four steps to run ASYLUM 3 under Windows:
1. Activate the Program Manager (i.e. start Windows)
2. Choose RUN... from the File menu. The Run dialog box appears.
3. Type the full path and filename in the Command Line text box.
For example:
C:\ASYLUM3\ASYLUM3.EXE
4. Choose OK
That's all there is to running Asylum 3 (refer to your Windows
manual if you wish to install the icon associated with this program).
A NOTE ABOUT USING VGA GRAPHICS UNDER WINDOWS
This game works best if you have a VGA driver installed under Windows
capable of displaying 256-color VGA graphics. If not, Windows will use
the default VGA palette (16 colors). Under such conditions, the graphics
may look akward.
