  3. SportBall is a game for Palm devices where the goal is to steer the ball into the hole before time runs out. The ball is constantly moving up and down, and you control the ball by nudging the ball left or right. You have some bricks to break, some obstacles to avoid, and some bonus prizes to chase after. It is a fun, easy-to-learn game that has some interesting challenges.

  5. SportBall is designed for color or B&W Palm devices with 160 x 160 displays and running at least Palm OS version 3.5.

  7. SportBall is shareware software. You can use the unregistered copy of SportBall as much as you want, but this version has limited number of levels.

  9. Play instructions are provided from the About SportBall dialog once you installed it on your Palm device.

  11. Installation
  12. ------------
  13. If not done so already, unzip the SportBall.zip file or unstuff the SportBall.sit file.

  15. To install this program, use your Palm Desktop install option and Hotsync to load the file: SportBall.prc into the Palm device.  If you registered, you can install the additional SportBall sets (SB*.pdb) in the Zip or SIT file.

  17. Upgrading - To upgrade to a newer version and keep your settings, DO NOT remove the application from your Palm device. Install only the SportBall.prc file.

  19. Uninstalling -  Simply delete the application from your device using the "Applications  Manager".

  21. Registration
  22. ------------
  23. If you pay / register for SportBall, then you will have unlimited levels; that is, you can play until you don't have any extra balls left. Furthermore, you will be able to create and edit new levels, as well as, start at any level. You will also be able to load other SportBall sets (levels), such as those given below.

  30. You can locate SportBall at these sites quickly by doing a search for "SportBall".

  32. Note that you have to register using your HotSync name as the User Name.

  34. After you pay / register, a Code will be sent to you to activate SportBall (usually within 24 hours). Once you receive your registration code, enter your User Name and Code in the Register dialog to unlock the full version of SportBall. No additional loading to your Palm device is required.
