  8.            WMATH 1.1 is a math-tutor designed for Windows. You must
  9.            have Windows 3.0 or later to use the program, and naturally
  10.            whatever hardware requirements Windows has will be needed
  11.            to use this program.

  13.            You must also have the file VBRUN100.DLL (distributed with
  14.            this program) either in your PATH statement or in the same
  15.            directory as this program.

  18.            INSTALLATION:
  19.  
  20.            There is a new installation program we wrote included.
  21.            To install, put your program disk in your disk drive
  22.            (or better yet, a backup copy of it), change to that
  23.            drive by typing the drive letter, a colon, and then
  24.            Enter (such as A:[Enter]). Then to start the install
  25.            program type INSTY. The installation program will prompt
  26.            you for the destination drive and directory where you
  27.            wish to install the program files. The default is C:\
  28.            WINDOWS. WMATH needs to be with your WINDOWS program
  29.            as well as it's files. If C:\WINDOWS is where your
  30.            Windows program is, you can just press Enter, otherwise
  31.            enter the correct information here.

  33.            This file will not be installed. The installation
  34.            program will tell you when it is done. Then you need to
  35.            start Windows and go to the Program Manager and select
  36.            New from the menu. Add the file WMATH.EXE, and the other
  37.            info as prompted and you should find a new ICON on your
  38.            screen, ready to go.

  40.            NOTE: Optionally, you can start Windows first, before
  41.            installing. Select RUN from the Program Manager menu, and
  42.            type in A:\INSTY when it asks you what you want to run,
  43.            (or B:\INSTY...whatever your disk drive designation).

  46.            DESCRIPTION:
  47.  
  48.            This program will generate either Addition, Subtraction,
  49.            Multiplication or whole Division problems at random. The
  50.            default maximum number is 50, and the default problem is
  51.            addition, but either of these may be changed from the pull-
  52.            down menu. It will also keep track of your correct and
  53.            incorrect answers and you may see them or reset them at
  54.            any time. If you give an incorrect answer, the icon will
  55.            frown, and the correct answer will be given. A correct
  56.            answer will get a big smile from the icon.

  59.            Also, at COMPLETION of your session, you may select SCORES
  60.            from the pulldown menu, and then select Report Card from the
  61.            pulldown on the scores form, (have your printer ready) and
  62.            a "Report-Card" will be printed as the program ends. 
  63.            (Note that this will automatically end the program.)

  77.            As always, you should make a backup copy of your original
  78.            disk. Please refer to your DOS manual.

  81.            REGISTRATION:

  83.            Registration is $5.00. If $2.50 is added for shipping/handling
  84.            an upgraded version will be sent which has many more options
  85.            and other types of problems (percent to decimal, Square root, 
  86.            etc.), a pop-up calculator for help and better graphics as well 
  87.            as more detailed report-card printing, etc. You may print an
  88.            invoice for registration either by typing PRINV at DOS while
  89.            in the directory where INVOICE.DOC and PRINV.BAT are contained
  90.            OR through the menu in the program which uses the same method.
