  6. SOLAR POWER is the harnessing of the Suns power. The Sun's core is 27,000,000 deg F. The Surface of the Sun is an
  7. average of 10,000 deg F.

  9. This project will show you how to harness the power of the Sun. If you could take a large area of Sunlight and squeeze it
  10. into a small area,  it  would  get  very  hot,  hot enough to burn an object.  To  build  this project,  take a reflector out of a 
  11. Flashlight and push a pencil  though the light bulb hole from the bottom up.  Point the refector at the  Sun  and watch the
  12. pencil smoke.  The  refector  from the flashlight focuses the  Suns  heat  at  one point  on  the  pencil,  causing it to burn.
